Creamy Breakfast Smoothie

Creamy Breakfast Smoothie

Smoothies are a great way to start the morning when you need something quick, easy and satisfying. The trick to making a smoothie as a meal replacement is to add enough protein and healthy fat. Here is one of my favourite go-to’s:

  • 1 cup fruit (I usually use frozen wild blueberries and banana)
  • 1 cup frozen cauliflower florets
  • 1 cup unsweetened soy, cashew, coconut, oat or almond milk (use more if you prefer a thinner smoothie)
  • 1 tbsp almond butter (or substitute with another nut or seed butter)
  • 1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
  • Cinnamon to taste

Blend until smooth and creamy and enjoy!
