Menopause & Perimenopause Program
Did you know that symptoms of perimenopause often appear in women 4-8 years before their final menstrual period? For most women, this means that changes in their hormones start as they enter their 40’s. Initially this often shows up as a worsening of PMS, changes in the timing and/or flow of their menstrual cycle, difficulty sleeping at night, and decreased resiliency to life’s stressors. As women get closer to their final menstrual period, their cycles become less frequent, and they often experience symptoms more commonly associated with menopause, such as hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, and insomnia. During this time of hormonal fluctuation, women may notice weight gain and changes in their body composition. They are also at an increased risk of being diagnosed with diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressure.
What to expect:
The goal of the Menopause & Perimenopause Program is to help women transition through perimenopause and menopause with ease. The initial appointment involves a detailed medical history, a review of your nutrition and lifestyle habits, and lab testing to screen for other conditions that can affect a woman’s transition through menopause and perimenopause. While we wait for your lab results, we will get started with treatment that supports the foundational aspects of your health. In your second appointment we will review your test results and a 3-month care plan will be presented. Treatment often includes nutrition and lifestyle counseling, herbal medicine, and/or vitamin supplementation. Visit fees are covered by most extended health benefits plans. When you feel better you can do better.
Up to 41% of perimenopausal women say they’ve received little or no guidance from their doctor on managing symptoms like fatigue, hot flashes, brain fog, and mood swings.
And when it comes to weight, many are still told to simply “eat less and move more” without anyone asking why your body is resisting change.
You deserve care that looks deeper, asks better questions, and doesn’t stop at surface-level advice.
I want women to feel great in their bodies at every stage of life.
That means getting real answers, not just being told it’s normal or to wait it out. It means understanding what’s actually driving your symptoms and having a clear plan to move forward.
If you’re tired of feeling dismissed or left guessing, you’re in the right place.
Let’s help you feel stronger, clearer, and more like yourself again. It starts with a conversation.
Empower yourself with natural, evidence-based care tailored just for you.
