If you’re feeling low on energy after the holiday rush, you’re not alone. Many women tell me they’re tired—and trying to pursue a weight loss goal while also battling fatigue is an uphill battle.

One of my first steps when helping women lose weight is to address any energy deficits. This may look like correcting nutrient deficiencies, improving sleep quality, or adjusting someone's meal timing. Addressing fatigue first is so important for a few reasons:

- A tired brain is a hungry brain! Fatigue disrupts your appetite, driving you to eat even when you're not truly hungry.
- Low energy leaves you with less capacity for exercise, which is key to fat loss, increasing muscle mass, and overall health.
- Meal planning and prepping take a back seat when you're running on empty.

The good news? Many causes of fatigue are easy to address, and by tackling it head-on, you'll set yourself up for better success with any weight loss or healthy goals you're pursuing. If you're struggling, don't hesitate to reach out - I'd love to help!
