Looking for a healthy dessert to satisfy a sugar craving? This easy-to-make chocolate pudding is one of my favourites. Naturally sweetened with banana and full of healthy fat, this pudding is rich, smooth, and creamy, and will leave you feeling satisfied for hours. This recipe is also one of the approved recipes in next month’s [Community Sugar Challenge!](https://drgri.com/community-sugar-challenge/)

Ingredients:

- 1 ripe banana, peeled
- ½ ripe avocado, pitted
- 2 tbsp almond butter
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
- water, to thin as needed
Optional toppings:

- shredded coconut
- hemp seeds
- hazelnuts
- fresh berries
Directions:

- Add all pudding ingredients into a food processor and process until smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed. Run the machine for a couple minutes to get it super smooth. If the pudding is too thick, add a splash of water or coconut milk.
- If time permits, chill the pudding in the fridge for an hour or so, or eat immediately with desired toppings.
